Which one is better? Xvid or Divx?
I need to convert VOB files to either one of them. how would i go about doing this?

At number 10 (the first one, not the second one - Marc, you need to sort this out  ) then that should help you on your way to getting it sorted out. XviD is generally seen as the slightly better codec, but more people use DivX.
