Audio out of synch with video using Nero Visionexpress

I've downloaded an AVI file from the internet and the only bit of software I can open it with for burning is Nero Visionexpress. The actual AVI file works fine when viewed with Media Player but once it's burned onto DVD or VCD the audio is about 2 seconds out of synch. Any ideas?
