hi all.

my pioneer dv 525 wont play any dvd-r disc i burn. this puzzles me because a dvd-r burned on another pc will play fine on it.

i author using either ulead or tmpgenc dvd author and liteon burner. the other dvd-r also used ulead and both discs were the same brand iomega.

any clues?

was the other drive a pioneer? These tend to be better, and burn discs that are more compatible. It shouldn't be like that, but it is unfortunately.

try creating a disc image and burning it with dvd decrypter on your drive.
