Default Editing DVD movie files

Does anyone know how to take clips from movies ripped with DVD Shrink and compile them onto a new DVD? I'm trying to take my favorite scenes and put them together on a single DVD. I've tried TMPGEnc and Adobe Premiere, but the file types seem to be a problem.
