I am having a problem with adding audio to the background of my menus.

I do as suggested, highlight the audio track then go to click Automation and, just hovering even, the audio stops.

The background pattern is still there, so I go back into background properties and then see the track is greyed out. I keep trying and I am in a loop!

How do I get the sound to work? Can I make it loop? If so, how?

Also... can you not change the font sizes or are you stuck with what it gives you?
