Default eliminating crackle

Hi,
I've just burnt a DVD with Nero and there's a lot of audio crackle with high volume - can I do anything about this or is it a case of recording lower. Cheers
Brendan

The destortion is caled "clipping" you can fix it by loweribg the "output gain" in your audio program. Thats about all I can suggest at the moment due to not knowing what program you are useing. It would be a good idea to list your specs in your sig. Best of luck!
