Custom buttons in DVD Architect...

I've been playing around with Sony DVD Architect and I cannot for the life of me figrure out how to make and use custom buttons. Any ideas? All I want to do is make 3 different buttons for 3 holidays on my DVD. A tree for Christmas, a turkey for thanksgiving, and a pumpkin for halloween. All with their respective backgrounds cut out. I know how to make alpha channels and stuff like that. But using them in Architect is cinfusing the hell out of me.

Any suggestions? or links to a website with tutorials? ANYTHING will help.
