Default Hybrid DVDs, any guidelines?

Ok, so I've been experimenting with creating DVDs. With my new DVD burner I bought Sonic DigitalMedia Plus. It's pretty fun.

I have some RuneScape movies that I am going to make DVDs with from their AVI files. I know how to do that with Sonic.

But after its all complete, I want to put the original avis on there for use with my computer. I was thinking of opening the archive with 7-ZIP and placing them in the root directory. Are there any specific guidelines to follow when adding additional files?

I would create an AVI folder and put the files in it rather than the root. This should work with all but the oldest stand alone DVD players.
