Thread: dslr memory

Hi
Ive been making shorts for a little while now and have always had one main problem, I never have enough memory. Ive been using the Canon 550D which takes an SD card. The problem with this is that filming in 1080p the small 4GB card i use get full very quickly. Originally I planned to just get a few SD cards but this was very expensive and annoying.

Recently Ive been looking for some kind of external hard drive that can directly download what is on the SD card. I would much appreictiate any suggestions on what i could invest in.
