| | Explosion stock footage wanted. I am looking for some bluescreened explosions - exploding shop size - looked on a few stock sites and found none.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, or even make me something in some cool app, or explain how I can film explosions without setting fire to my screen? ? ?
The epxlosion will erupt from a subway - after a side and front view.

| | I'd second detonation films. They have loads of big explosions (and lots of other things going bang - rockets, muzzle flashes, etc) They REALLY love blowing stuff up. THe best part is loads of their stuff is FREE!
I've tried to make a convincing big fireball explosion with Particle Illusion but it still looks like a simulation to me (but then, I am probably not very good. I have seen nice stuff done with it.)
Then there's Andrew Kramer's Action Movie Essentials which I seem to remember has some big fireball explosions, and they are all rendered with the alpha channel transparency already. |

| | Ahh yes, Detonation Films - one of the several free, high quality sites I referenced in http://www.videoforums.co.uk/user-vi...ounds-etc.html Okay, sorry, I couldn't resist - I tried to share a bunch of the better resources I've found, and no one ever replied to the post! Oh, and no affiliation by the way. I encourage everyone to check out a few of these sites if you haven't already. |

| | How are the Kramer DVDs? I'd imagine they are superb, just based on the quality of his tutorials, but haven't heard a first-hand review. Anyone have any feedback on his products?
