Someone asked me a few days ago what was the most difficult shot to take in videos I've made, I thought about it for a moment or two and would have to admit it is getting enough cutaways to cover over camera moves (for continious audio track), jump cuts and generally people walking in front of the camera. It is also difficult as you have to hold the camera near your face for about 8 to 10 seconds and people in a crowd (capturing reaction shots of an audience) will notice that. So I was wondering what techniques do you guys use to help disguise the fact that you are filming them. And have you ever noticed if someone is walking towards the place you are filming from and they spot you at the last minute, they seem to fall into a newly dug hole in the ground. They just seem to vanish down through the bottom of the screen. And how many times have Police cars appeared in your videos, driving very sloooowwwly through the shot. I've lost count at this stage.
