Default Timecode probs ???

Hi all,

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but you haven't let me down yet

I have been asked to supply some footage to the BBC so they can look into buying it. The only thing is the producer told me they have problems with the time codes on HDV. They cannot find them, leaving the editors to search the 'old fashioned' way.

So they have asked me to bring them my stuff in the DVCAM format. NON compressed from HDV as they suffer from dropouts. So...What the bloody hell have I bought my A1E for. If the BBC cannot use or edit with the stuff, how the hell am I going to cope. It's a dilemma. :(

Please tell me some good news. I was just about to purchase Sony Vegas 6 for my HDV editing. but now I'm unsure.

Cheers all

DeanB ...
