Default Sony DCR-PC1 power source, battery life

Hi all,

I'm using a borrowed Sony DCR-PC1 miniDV camcorder, and I just have a couple of questions:

1) I'm using "InfoLithium" batteries, and it seems like the battery life is quite short. What kind of battery life should I expect? 1 hour? Less?

2) I have the battery charger that I plug into the wall. How long does it normally take to fully charge a battery? Is it a situation where each time I charge a battery, it's dying a little?

3) Is there such a thing as an AC power adaptor for the camcorder, so I can just plug it into the wall socket and not have to use batteries at all? That would be the ideal scenario for me. Looking at the camcorder, I don't see any available ports for such an adaptor.

Thanks for your help!
