Default NV GS400 power save

Hi, does anybody out there know if it is possible to disable the auto shut off on an NV GS400 ?
I am currently doing live cam to projector work via the s-video output, and have to remember to hit record every few mins to keep the cam from auto shut off. I've checked the manual and all the settings, and can't find anything.

Cheers

Mike

I hope I understand fully what you mean.....been out of the business for a while...
If I am correct this way to solve this problem is to leave the cassette door open and the cam will not switch off?

I am trying to remember, I have done this sort of thing many times at wedding expo's, kept a Panasonic cam pointed at the clients connected to a monitor, have you tried or are you connecting to mains power?
I have a panasonic DS11, will fire it up and perform a test

no problem. Just run it off mains power with no tape in. A bit restricting, but it works.
