Default What video camera is best for me???

Hey guys,
I am in need of a new video camera. It will be used for recording pretty much anything but it will also be used for some helmet camera shots. That being said, it MUST have VTR (video tape recording) capability because that is the only way I can record onto it via a helmet camera ( www.helmetcamera.com is the one I am using). I also want a spot for the lanc connection to go to... having a lanc remote makes things all the more easier. It needs to be able to connect to a computer either by a USB cable or via firewire cable. The better the video quality the more interested I would be in buying it. Can you guys point me in the right direction? Links even maybe? I have about $500 to spend.

Thanks for the help.

You need a camcorder with a video in. There is a list on the web site you mention. Quality wise I wouldnt get too carried away as the output from the teeny cam is probably not that good and I think you might break the camcorder quite quickly...
