Anybody got any personal recommendations for camcorder battery suppliers? Am I best going for Canon branded, or are other makes just as good?

Mike: you may like to try www.eurobatteries.com. I've only ever bought one (Panny) battery from there, but no complainst and excellent service - and a huge saving on the original Panny price.

I've bought my last two high capacity canon-type (not canon branded) batteries from Keene Electronics - www.keene.co.uk
Thoroughly recommend them. Great service.

Sorry, I meant I'd bought a battery for a Panny, not a Panny battery...
