Default Display Monitors - URGENT

Hi All,
Disclaimer: I am not technically adept. Hence please excuse my ignorance.

I am currently in the process of purchasing my Edit Suite and have a 23" Apple Display Monitor & Black Magic HD Link as well as a JVC DTV1910 19" Pro Series PAL Monitor & JVC IF-C61HSDG Input board included in my quote. Are the JVC's required? Whats the usability of the JVC's? As far as I am aware, I can use the HD Link for the Apple Display to be used as a monitor as well right? PLEASE ADVISE!!!
