What a funny looking camera (and only one CCD - ouch). You haven't given us the full name of you camera, but as long as it's miniDV format, you're fine (the md9000en is miniDV).

Who shot the video out of interest.

I'm very suprised he's willing to give you the "master" DV tapes. Go on, tell us (or PM me) the name of the videographer

I've played tapes from 4 different camcorders (a panasonic, a JVC, a sony and a canon xl2) in my pokey little canon Mv600 for the purposes of capturing video, and they've all done fine.

rose video, from yorkshire,
he's not much of a pro one guy, one cam, no tripod, and like a 600w floodlight!
still cost £750 for:
1 editied dvd
1 edited vhs
1 uneditied vhs/ uneditied dv tapes,
75 10x8 photos with digital slr
that sound expensive or reasnoable?

I clearly spend too much on materials, equiment and time editing; and charge too little.

Hi theukvibe,

Are my eyes deceiving me... did you say he had no tripod? And was charging 750??? Have you seen the tapes yet, I'd like to know how he managed to hold a camera steady for the entire ceremony.

Well it was a shoulder-mount...
Anyway, the Panny MD9000 sucks bigtime, I wanted to buy one of those and realised it's just not worth the money.
