Anyone know about this 3 ccd camcorder?
A little bit confuse because this camcorder using a CF for saving the film,just like digital camera.

Is the format same with mini DV format,so that we can mix it in editing the video?

It captures to MPEG2. This isn't the easiest of formats to edit with.

Because tomorrow I'll shoot for my bestfriend wedding. I will use 2 camcorder if it's not impossible to mix them for editing steps.

Do u know some way to mix it ?Or the way I can change mp2 format to the mini dv format?

Thank you, it's clear to me now. And I think that I will not using the JVC one because I'm still just a beginner.

I would set the JVC camera up at the back of the wedding for cutawaty shots That way it's there if you need it!

I agree totally with Mark. It is better to have 2 cameras at a wedding shoot as one can capture the main shots while someone else can capture the cutaways and reaction shots as you'll need these at the editing stage to cover over wonky zooming and focusing problems. If you are the main camera person, get yourself up beside the groom on his lefthand side and preferably using a sturdy tripod stay there until the vows are exchanged. You'll get shots of the couple exchanging vows and putting the rings on their fingers plus the inevitable kiss at the end. Either use a tie clip mic on the grooms lapel to record sound or use a directional mic on a mic stand to get good audio. And remember to arrive early and do a recce of the building.

Yeah,at last I used the JVC one as a backup and get a candid shot with that.
I used dv camera as the main camera.

The result is not really bad,but now it's time for editing Hope u don't mind if I ask u some questions again later.
