Apologies if this is out of place on this forum, but I'm looking for expert enthusiast advice on tapeless camcorders.

Best quality is the key, I know the quality isn't comparable to tape yet, but I believe it's getting close. The convenience of file based video is just too tempting for a digital family!!!

Please give me advice on what you reckon is the best, and why.
