Thread: Which camcorder is good for editind: hard drive/ flash memory/ memory card/DVD?

Hi everyone,
I have just started learning Final Cut Pro.And I am planning to buy my first handycam camcorder. But I am a bit confused about which type of camera to buy for editing purpose.

To my knowledge there are 5 main types of cameras:-
1 Hard drive Camcorder.
2 Flash memory Camcorder.
3 Memory Card Camcorder.
4 DVD Camcorder.
5 Mini DV Camcorder.

Mini DV Camcorders are too expensive for my pocket .So I have to choose from the rest options.I would be very thankful if somebody could help me in taking the decision on which camcorder to buy for editing: hard drive/ flash memory/ memory card/ DVD.
