Hi there
I'm a Fine Art graduate and having been made redundant from my grad job after 2 years, as video/editor camera person to some major fashion retailers I am now setting up on my own as a wedding videographer. Recession grrrrrrrrr. Anyway I have a Canon Xm2 and a manfrotto tripod which I'm quite at home with but alas I have no lens to jazz the camera up with.
I'm guesing I will need lens for shooting long-range shots at weddings and also in dark places or tight spaces, What lens should I get?
Also thinking of getting a shoulder support or a flycam to help with the reportage feel I'm going for... any thoughts?
One other thing - the Mirophone adapter shue only takes dual imut which makes me think that to use an xlr mic I will need a Y-splitter cable - won't this be quite cumbersome ? Any tips on a good hand-held mic for very loud crowd enviroments will be much appreciated.
Peace
Clare
