i'm new to video recording and editing.my aim is to purchase a video camera,so that i can record my own music videos,to go on youtube or maybe downsize for mobile phones-around 40-100mb video.

my budget is upto £300

but firs ti have a few questions...

1)what programs are available? - need to be able to sync video with audio tightly.maybe some fade in/fade out features,able to add titles etc.

2)what formats do i consider? i basically wanna be able to drag and drop video clips from the source onto my pc - is this a bad move for small project - between 2 -3 minutes long?
