I'm also pretty new in filming en editing

I would like to know whether the Sony HVR-HD1000E HDV‏ a good buy is

I want to buy this camera, but ik want a goed camera

can someone help me

Hi

I guess it depends what you want to use if for.

Te HD1000E is a shoulder mount cam marketed as an entry level pro cam. It's a single CMOS chip camera, and probably internally has more in common with the high end consumer cams.

I'm sure it is a nice camera, but like I said, it depends what you want it for.

I wonder of Sony have made a mistake with this one. It looks so cheap and plasticky.... it's external look might well be reflected in the innards too...
I suspect it will sell to wannalooklikes rather than serious videographers...
