I think you can get em for around the 1.5k mark. Try pricerunner, kelkoo and the like (do a search in google for anything and the results will be littered with price comparison sites - no, seriously)

Wonder if they are multi-standard - i.e. buying one from the US?

They are about $5000.... Mind you, I guess they would be NTSC

Cheaper again - £3224.62 inc vat. No stock though.

BTW - have any of you look at the footage you can download of these cameras working? Absolutely stunning - even in low light!!

You whet our appetites and don't supply links??? I'd love to see footage but don't know where to look

Not sure the thing is actually shipping yet so not surprised at no stock. I might be ready for something new about the middle of next year so hoping for a good deal on this piece of kit or something similar. Sony have a nice one out soon too that might tempt me Details at http://tinyurl.com/6zcjd

Here's the link for the cheapest one:

http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...tml?CAN-XL2KIT

The video I downloaded, but I looked at so many sites I cant remember where from... I've saved them to my pc, so if someone wants to host...

The video shows somebody filming outside at various times in the day, from bright sunlight to darkness.... and even at night, the image is still astonishing and crystal clear - no lights used either!
