Hey all, im thinking of purchasing 2 sony hvr z1u's which are apparently the American models compared to Europe's "z1e" second hand.

Will it make any difference to the general working of the camera here in the UK? Ie id imagine the plug will be different and will need a converter but will this effect the camera?

I know the warranty wont be applicable here but is there anything else I should be weary of when buying a second hand camera?
