Sony Camcorder Audio Editing

Hi. Does anyone know how to edit out the sound of a Sony Handycam DCR-DVD201 or any camcorder. Here's the deal. Took video of son's sporting game and coach wants a copy of the video. However, the audio on it has a bunch of parents complaining about the coach so I'd like to remove that. Thanks for any help.
