hi im looking at buying a camcorder and want to do some video editing
,is it important to have a camcorder with a firewire connection and which format is the easiest to capture and edit on computer.

Myself I am happy with USB2. I bought a firewire remote HD and a firewire card but my computer sometimes would not recognize drive. I bought a USB drive and all is great. My USB2 works great with my Canon HG10 and Canon G7.
