Default HD Camcorder £2000 budget??

Hi guys,

Im making Surf films and need a camera that records footage in a very clear and crisp way with vivid colours. There needs to be good Optical Zoom (more than x10). and I want to make it HD so I can record it on to Blue Ray.(is all blue ray 1080p or can I record 1080i ono disc??)

I will be taking it on journeys abroad etc... so fairly robust too.

My Budget is 2k, Any suggestions appreciated

Thanks

ps is just Sonys that have the super slow recording function??
