Smile SONY PMW-EX1 with PREMIERE PRO CS3

Hi,

I'm brand new to this forum. I Desperately need to know if i can edit footage shot on a SONY PMW-EX1 camcorder using Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.

Can anyone please help as i have a shoot this week and wanted to try the Sony to compare with the Panasonic vx200.

Many thanks

Thats what I've heard too, but am yet to use both cameras.

I know Premiere Pro CS3 supports the P2 System and am pretty sure it supports XDCAM as well but am unsure of the process needed as I am yet to find anyone who has used the SONY PMW-EX1 and then edited in Premiere Pro CS3, especially footage shot in 24p (Cine Alta).

So if anyone can advice please do

Many thanks

RJ
