Hello I am a complete novice at using digital video, up until now i have been happy linking away with a digi camera, I want to take outdoor video footage, not at any distance of my family, I also work dogs and would like to take footage of them in action.

I have a very tight budget, and at the moment am thinking along the lines of a dvd camcorder, could someone please point me in the right direction as to which to consider buying to give me the best results, thx in advance.
