Ok, so when recording with a mini DV camera. When I rewind to view what is recorded, I tend to get into the R0: and R1: time things, and when I press play, it takes so long for it to actually play the video because it counts down the little R thing first...

WHat is this, how can I avoid it, how can I get rid of it?

Help please, its really annoying when we need to rewind to see how certain shots came out.
