Hi,

I am a new user desperate for help with this. I have a JVC 30gig gz-mg57aa camcorder. I recently took it to sweden (it was quite cold) and when i went to use it, the camcorder said i needed to remove the lens cap, even though the lens cap was already removed- the picture then stayed completed black, and only in extreme light (like when pointing at sky or at christmas lights) could the camera make out a faint picture...i hadnt used the camera in a few months so i am not sure how long this has been an issue...any ideas on this????
