Hi, my tape tray will not close when there is a tape in there it makes some noise then fliks the tray back up and will not go in. Any ideas why. The tape i tried it with was new and used but still no luck.

How old is your camcorder and has it had any damage done to it recently?

Its about 3 years old but it hasnt been used much over that 3 years. There is no noticeable damage apart from cosmeticly and to my knowledge it hasnt been dropped or anything.
