Question Help! going to India, need cc advice!

Hi,

Am going to India very shortly for a month and need some advice.
Am looking for a camcorder that will cope well with hot humid conditions. Maybe as much as 30 degrees and 70% humidity!

Am not currently a cc owner, but would like to get decent footage of family, sights and wildlife - should I consider HD?

Would also value advice on which format to use for travelling, not quite backpacking but not far off! Would like to be able to view images on PC and TVorDVD.

Looking forward to recieving knowledge from experienced camcorder travellers!

Thanks WearyNewby
