Really does depend on what you mainly want to film. If you want crisp, sharp close ups of people filling the whole screen, go for telephoto. If you're shooting mainly inside or panaramic outdoor shots, go for wide angle.

To be brutally honest, I'd wait and see first. You may not feel the need for any add ons once you see the cam in action

It sounds like, if you're shooting sporting events, telephoto would be the go, 'cos you often can't get close enough to get a good shot without zooming in. However, I would personally go for wid-angle, because I find the camera I use most often (my Dad's) isn't really wide enough to film someone at normal talking distance (as I often do in social situations) without taking a step back, which is a real pain in the arse.

idk p4. If you're going to be filming wrestling i think you could go with wide angle. It really depends on where the wrestling is. If it's in a big gym and you need to film from the stands, go with telephoto. If it's more in a "wrestling room" go with wide angle.
