I have been offered with Sony Hanycam, but I do not know what the model is can anyone help?

All I know it is Sony Handycam HI -8

I'd welcome anyone who can tlel me what model it is

ahhhhh. if you took that picture (and maybe it was sent to you) just pick up the camera and read it. it should say.

the manual may be for the model's "family," and not be specific to one model.

you say offered. do you mean to buy?

if it is a gift just accept and take it to a store if the labels are missing.

as a hi-8 camera is it is very trailing edge technology - if you are considering a purchase. still, if it is cheap, you might find a use.
