Default Which camcorder for a motorbike?

Hi

I am riding/camping through the mountains of Spain and France this year and want to capture some of it on Video. Can anyone recommend a camcorder that will meet the following:-

Able to power from a bike/car battery or have a car charger (Must have)
Wide screen
Able to mount on a tripod
Able to plug in a microphone (nice to have)

I am also confused over HDD or Mini-DV. I just sold my Sony DVD camcorder because the quality of video was not very good and the discs only lasted for 20 minutes.

I am thinking that Mini-DV will be the best option.

Thanks very much

Mike
