Default Sony DCR-HC26-How to clean head

to all videoforum member, i need you help.
How to clean a head of that vid.cam. when i play, several lines appear on screen. that was begin when i forward and reverse the tape several times.
Is there any manual on how to clean it (head)?

thank, advice are prior appreciated.

Have you done the obvious and run a tape head cleaner through it a couple of times?

thank to the response. actually i just came from festival and try to forward and reverse the tape to see what i'ved record (that why some lines appear on screen).

i don't run the tape head cleaner yet.

When my Sony gets grubby it usualky shows up as green bars. Get yoursefl a tape head cleaner. It'll likely sort it out. However....

... it may not just be playback issue. It may be recorded like that.
