Canon HV10/20

Is anyone using either of these HD cams. yet ? If so, can you tell me how the process of capturing stills from video works i.e. can you capture as a semi-continuous process from a slo-mo play of the video ?

Also, can the consumer Sony and JVC HD's do anything like this ?
