Default sony hdr hc3

hey, can anybody answer me this... if i get a sony hdr hc3 and set it to record in dv as opposed to hdv will my old adobe premiere pro capture the footy. and does anybody know from what version premiere would handle hdv???

hope someone can help me, thanks!

Can the Sony hdr hc3 record in high definition video? You are referring to high definition video (HD video) just to clear up the confusion.
