hey everyone, i just bought my vx-1000 and I am loving it, i'm looking into buying a wide angle lens for it and have a question. here it is.

i've been looking at this lens "RAYNOX HD-4500 52MM 0.45X WIDE ANGLE" i believe the "HD" means high def? so since my vx-1000 isn't a high def camera, will i still be able to use this lens. will it work as if the lens wasn't high def because my camera isn't? and does anyone know if i will get that round look when i fill with that lens, becasue i don't like that when you see the round part of the lens in the footage, i like it when it's just 4:3 and you can't see the lens in the footage.
