Hi

I was wondering if someone could please help me. I am looking for a camcorder, i want to get something with really good picture quality and something that is one of the lastest in technology. I am myself a beginner dont know much about camcorders. Will be mainly using it for holidays, family etc. My budget is around £500. Anyone have any suggestions.

For picture quality and the budget you have go for MiniDV, you are really spoilt for choice as you can choose from Sony, Canon, JVC and Panasonic. You can't go wrong with any of these manufacturers. It just depends on what features you are looking for and what features you can do without.
