Default No LCD display in Sony HC42E
In my HC42E handycam, suddenly the display in the LCD is gone. I may have reduced the brightness of the LCD. Can someone help me resolve the problem.

The brightness control doesn't (I believe) affect the menu screens. It may be the backlight has gone, in which case it'll need a pro repair.
