Hi

I am looking for a camcorder for my parents for their forthcoming holiday who want something simple to use.

I have come across this one

which looks ideal for them. I see that it uses tapes and was wondering if tapes are still as popular or is it now mini DVD? Or which is the best?

If all they would do is film - watch then dvd may suit them best as the discs can be played in dvd players.

If they may ever want to edit stuff then dv is better.
