| | MiniDV + Wide Angle
I was watching "Survivorman" and I noticed that Les Stroud uses a mini DV camera with a wide angle lense. I was hoping someone could recommend me a canon MiniDV camera and a Wide angle lens that would be compatible but also very very cheap.
Thanks

Any camera with interchangable lenses will not be down at the cheap end. Quite the opposite in fact.
Chepaest I know of would likely be the Canon XL2 (if they still make them) at about £3K UKP. JUst guessing but I would imagine a good lens to be about the same.

I guess you could pick up a second hand XL1 for less than a grand.

Not sure where you are in the world, but have a look here http://www.keene.co.uk/pages/cat/03len/03F.html - gives some good info.
