Default Info needed fast for Christmas videoing: Sony Digital 8 DCR-TRV480 date/time insert.

If anybody has the Sony DCR-TRV480 Digital 8 camcorder, can you please tell me how to insert the date and time during recording? Finding this normally simple-to-use function has me baffled for this camera!

Check through the menus to make sure you have the date and time set to come on when you normally press a button on the body of the camcorder. If you have a remote with this particular model, there may be a button on it aswell to display the date and time for anything from 5 to 10 seconds and then go off automatically.
