Default Is the Panasonic NV-DX1E still a good Camcorder???

I've been looking at buying a GS500 or XM1. But i've come across a Panasonic NV-DX1E less than a £100 ($196) i don't know anything about this camera apart from the fact it's old, can anyone give me any info on it.

What is the picture quality like compared to the GS500 and XM1, and also it's size, the GS500 is a great cam in a small body.

Any help much appreciated.

Apologies if it's in the wrong place.

Cheers

- Mick

It was a good camera, but it's so outdated... don't let the low price tag fool you. I bet it's been used heavily so it won't last too long. Better to get a new cam. The GS500 sounds good. The Canon XM1 is also obsolete.

Hi Mihai,

He say's he hasn't used it much, and he's even got the box and everything else that came with it, i know that doesn't prove anything, but he seems to have taken care of it.

What is the video quality like on it, compared to the GS500?? I can't find much on it round the internet.

cheers

Mike

I can't refer to video quality of the DX1 because I've never used one, but it doubt it can surpass the newer models.
