a little help here please, my camera is a Panasonic NV-GS 180 and i have been using USB 2.0 since i got the camera with the usb cable, problem is i cant see anythign to indicate that it has a port on the camera for a firewire cable - does anybody know if my make of camera can support firewire ? (it onlyhas a usb port and a dc port)

Yes this has a 4 pin firewire outlet. Look for this.
