Default How do i get a film effect

hi how do i get a film effect?

when you look at a home video and a programme like buffy or friends on tv they look different the colour?

why is that, how can i make my video look like buffy or friends? giving it that film look

Is that done by a filter? if so which filter can do that for me?

editing i use pinnacle version 6 can i get that effect on that if so how?

No way of competing with the big industrial cameras. Use the best you have available. Its all about the idea and executing the idea with the best tools at your disposal.

I dont use pinnacle but you can try playing with things like saturation and curves if it has that feature, or if you want to spend the cash 'magic bullet' is a program that can reproduce common film looks.

As said above it wont look as good as stuff shot on super cameras but it can be given a flavour of the look.

if you are really desperate for a richer look - one that is more seen in a more expensive setup magic bullet is definatly worth buying - but........ your video will take a lot of rendering if you are not running a supper computer the size of a fridge!
